"Locks of Love" for Magnums!

Troon Vineyard hosted a “Magnums for Locks of Love” event Friday, Saturday & Sunday during the weekend following Thanksgiving Day 2007. Team Troon pulled our magnums out of the library for the first time, allowing visitors to view the beautiful large format bottles in addition to having the opportunity to purchase them as well. Stylists from Medford’s hottest new salon Fahrenheit were on hand cutting hair from donors who were willing to donate their beautiful locks to the Lock’s of Love Foundation, an organization that provides hairpieces to disadvantaged children with medical disabilities. Donors contacted Liz Wan at Troon Vineyard to make their donation appointment and those donating received a $25 certificate towards a Magnum of their choice. Spectators were welcome and people who were interested in getting their hair styled but who could not make a 10 inch donation were able to make a monetary donation to Locks of Love in exchange for a styling session. The Tasting Room at Troon Vineyard will be closed Thanksgiving day and open from 11am to 5pm the entire Thanksgiving weekend annually offering a line up of award winning wines. The tasting room will also be featuring the grand release of the Holiday Cheers, a very special holiday wine to keep you and your loved ones warm during the upcoming holiday season. Troon Vineyard invites you, your friends and entire family to come join us during the weekend following Thanksgiving for “good times, fine wines”. Click here to view the "Locks of Love" website.
